With nearly 40 festivals, venues and hundreds of films screened each year, ChicagoScreens.org celebrates and promotes the rich film festival landscape of Chicagoland.

“It’s been exciting to see the unenviable growth of Chicago’s film festival and cinephile community in the 40 years since the Chicago Latino Film Festival was founded,” said Pepe Vargas, founder and executive director of the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago, producer of the Festival. “Without a doubt, we have all contributed in building a collaborative ecosystem responsible for bringing audiences some of the newest and finest in independent and international cinema — features, documentaries, shorts and animation, most of which will only be seen in a festival. A resource like this website will be vital in positioning Chicago, once and for all, as a true leader in film festival curation.”

The Chicago Alliance of Film Festivals (CAFF) is the first local alliance of its kind in the country representing over 50 members supporting the film festival ecosystem of Chicago and the region. CAFF’s mission is to contribute to the cultural and economic vitality of our communities by growing our film festival sector. CAFF is a program of FACETS.
