Taco 4 Strength: A New Culinary Arts Initiative Supporting Community and Culture
The International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago is pleased to announce a new partnership with Mercadito in River North. Together, we are launching Taco 4 Strength, an ongoing monthly culinary program that highlights Latin American cuisine while supporting the ILCC’s cultural mission.
Each month, Taco 4 Strength will feature a guest chef invited to create a signature taco inspired by their culinary background or style. The featured taco will appear on Mercadito’s menu for one month, giving diners the chance to experience a unique chef-driven dish. Mercadito will also introduce a monthly cocktail designed to pair with that taco.
For every Taco 4 Strength order—taco and cocktail—Mercadito will donate 5% of the proceeds to the International Latino Cultural Center, supporting our year-round programming across Chicago.
