POSTER CONTEST

Every year, the Chicago Latino Film Festival holds an international poster competition. Winner is selected by a panel of judges and becomes the face of the Festival, as it will be on the cover of the official festival program book, invitations, electronic ads, t-shirts and more.

FILM SUBMISSIONS

To be considered for the Chicago Latino Film Festival, film must be submitted via FilmFreeway or a film screener (link or DVD) with a complete entry form. Features must have a running time of 70 minutes or above & shorts must be less than 20 minutes. Selected films must be a Chicago premiere.

STUDENT MATINEE OUTREACH

A fundamental educational platform that continues to channel the cultural significance of film to elementary and high school students. The program provides students the opportunity to learn about the diversity of other cultures, and the prospect of meeting film artists.

AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARDS

The festival is non-competitive, however since 1993, a film has been chosen by film enthusiasts to receive the Audience Choice Award. Festival attendees determine who receives the publicly recognized award for feature, documentary and short film categories!
