Summer in Chicago just got more exciting with the announcement of the Levitt VIBE Concert Series, a collaboration between the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago and the Levitt Foundation. This FREE CONCERT SERIES will bring exceptional musical talent to community parks across the city, kicking off a season of celebration, culture, and community connection.

Experience the VIBE This Summer
The Levitt VIBE Concert Series features 10 free concerts from June 14th through August 16th, 2025 (Every Saturday this summer). The series opens with a spectacular showcase at Chicago’s Gage Park featuring acclaimed performers Yasser Tejeda and Los Rakas on June 14th from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.

Opening Concert Spotlight: Yasser Tejeda and Los Rakas
The inaugural concert features an exciting double bill with two dynamic acts that represent the diversity and innovation in contemporary Latin music.
Yasser Tejeda brings his unique fusion of Dominican roots music with jazz, rock, and Caribbean rhythms. Known for his virtuosic guitar playing and compelling compositions, Tejeda’s music honors traditional Dominican sounds while pushing boundaries with contemporary arrangements. His performances are both a cultural journey and an irresistible invitation to dance.
Los Rakas, the Grammy-nominated Panamanian-American duo, will deliver their signature blend of hip-hop, reggaeton, and dancehall. Cousins Raka Rich and Raka Dun have earned international acclaim for their bilingual rhymes and infectious beats that bridge cultures and generations. Their energetic performances create an atmosphere of celebration that perfectly embodies the spirit of the Levitt VIBE series.
