“LET’S WALK VALENTINA” is the poignant true story of Sandra Migliore and Valentina Rojas, two former members of a religious order who found love and healing together. As teenagers, both women faced challenging experiences during their spiritual training that left deep emotional scars. As adults, their paths cross in the same school they work for: Sandra as an administrator and Valentina as a nun. Both realize they also share a common experience when a rash of emails accuse the school principal of sexual abuse. The emails themselves trigger dark memories, bringing both women closer to each other.
The screenplay, written by director Alberto Lecchi, is based on Sandra Migliore’s memoir, “Race of Vipers, Memoirs of a Novice,” and is enriched by extensive interviews conducted with both women in 2018. “LET’S WALK VALENTINA” interweaves a story of resilience with a touching romance. It follows Sandra and Valentina’s journey as they overcome past traumas and build a new life together, showcasing the power of love and personal growth.
