Mateo joined the leadership team at the International Latino Cultural Center in January of 2022. He is tasked with diversifying and expanding arts programming, creation of new projects, grant writing, fundraising, and raising the profile of the ILCC. He shares the dream of building a first class brick and mortar center to serve our Pan-Latino community.

Pepe Vargas fosters the understanding of Latino culture through the universal language of the arts by showing, through our cultural expressions, that Latinos are defined by more than 20 different nationalities and come from all social and racial backgrounds.
