María José Llergo, one of Spain’s fastest rising stars, will present her sophomore album ULTRABELLEZA in her Chicago debut. Llergo, born and raised in rural Córdoba, Spain, takes her Gitana, Flamenco roots and forges a unique musical style utilizing her extraordinarily powerful voice and presence. Springboarding off of her acclaimed debut releases that included La Luz
with millions of streams on Spotify and YouTube, Llergo is poised to become the next revelation in Flamenco fusion with a recent full-length story in the New York Times as well as accolades from both NPR and Billboard. María José Llergo brings an unusual trio format that will appeal to her younger base but will undoubtedly captivate all audiences.

Winner of the Ruido Award in 2023 – Llergo will perform at Instituto Cervantes as part of the Chicago Flamenco Festival. This concert is co-produced with Instituto Cervantes and the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago.

$10 validated parking is available at this venue. Parking in the 33 W. Ontario Street Garage: Entrance to this garage is on Ohio street directly across from the Instituto Cervantes.
