Chicago (May 20, 2024) – Prepare yourself for an unforgettable night of non-stop dancing, as Kumbia Queers unleash their captivating stage presence, infecting everyone in the audience with their joyous spirit during a special Pride Month concert Friday June 21st at Beat Kitchen, 2100 W. Belmont. The International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago (ILCC) in collaboration with Future Rootz, the 17 and older concert will start at 9:30 pm with an opening DJ set by Future Rootz. Hailing from Valparaiso, Chile, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Pascuala Ilabaca is a unique and treasured voice in both the Latin American and World Music scenes. In little over a decade, she has released seven albums and performed on multiple world tours. Pascuala returns to the Windy City after her Chicago debut in 2022 at Martyrs through the ILCC and a subsequent performance at the City Winery in 2023. She is known for her flamboyant and captivating performances along with her potent band Fauna.
