Founded in 1965, Tuna de Oro has carried the message of Guanajuato’s young people through music.
This independent group has counted with the participation of musicians such as Enrique and Emilio Diemecke, the Aguascalientes brothers, Jesús González Trujillo and Carlos Vidaurri Aréchiga, who revolutionized the musical concept of the group by combining the festive spirit of the Estudiantes with musical quality.
The repertoire of the Tuna de Oro is very diverse, including Spanish pieces, traditional pieces of Estudiantes, Mexican music, and classical music.
The 13 singers and performers of instruments such as bandurrias, lutes, guitars, percussions, and double bass will present at the 47 FIC the project Concierto Ad Libitum (Music for pleasure), which is born from the endless feelings involved when performing a piece.
