Pacheco and his trio return to Chicago for an encore performance after a sold-out concert at Constellation in March presented by the ILCC. Hailing from Havana, Cuba, Jorge Luis Pacheco is a fiery young pianist with, as described by Cuban jazz multi instrumentalist Bobby Carcassés, “flying hands."

Our third presentation, part of the Chicago Latino Dance Festival will be hosted at the annual Global Peace Picnic in Humboldt Park (1440 N. Humboldt Boulevard, Chicago, IL 60622) on Saturday, September 30th, 2023. Six dance groups from all over Latin America will perform on stage between 1:00pm and 6:00pm.

Born and raised in Naucalpan in the deep outskirts of Mexico City, brothers Jesús Ángel "Kacho" Gama and Alan "Mongo" Gama are keeping alive the legacy of marimba music running through their family with their latest project, Son Rompe Pera.

Our closing event of the inaugural Chicago Latino Dance Festival by the ILCC. Seven dance performances from Puerto Rico, Colombia, presenting some of today's hottest Street Dancing in Chicago. Rueda, Melao Salsa, Bachata, all available at the Segundo Ruiz Belvis Center in Hermosa on October 12th, 2023.

In his dual role as composer and artist, Juan Falú is a cornerstone of Argentinean folk music. He will be in Chicago on October 14th, 2023 as part of the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago Music Series.

Singer-songwriters Katie James and Karin Stein, both from Colombia, present a concert of original and traditional music.
